Evelyn and Charlie are very kind and helpful hosts. I felt warmly welcomed from the moment Charlie greeted me at the door. The guest house is easily accessible by car and public transportation, and it remains a quiet retreat despite its city location. There is private street parking behind the building. The room was small but comfortable, and I had everything that I needed for a pleasant stay. Evelyn is an excellent cook; my breakfasts were delicious and generous. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer on this occasion, but I will gladly book again when I’m back in Aberdeen.

The room was exceptionally well-lit which made for enjoyable reading in the comfy corner seat. But what made the stay truly memorable were the delightful hosts, Nigel and Mandy. They were by far the warmest and most accommodating people we had come across. We truly enjoyed our conversations with them. What's more is that they always followed up with us about any needs we had and ensured they were met promptly. And don't get us started on the amazing breakfast (cooked to our order), definitely unmissable. The cherry on top is that it is located within walking distance of the city centre so we were able to truly enjoy what Aberdeen had to offer without sweating the costs of transport. We will definitely be coming back here the next time we visit Aberdeen!
