The Shell Grotto in Margate is definitely worth a visit. Fish & chips at Petes fish bar was the best! The actual room was spotless, (No.10) with an ensuite bathroom, everything provided, was literally home from home, couldn't have asked for more. We opted for breakfast which is an additional cost, but really good value for money and was lovely. Also, free parking which is an added bonus for a property so close to the seafront (literally a 2 min walk !) Couldn't of asked for a better place to stay! Thank you Colin & Tracey!

It was a lovely cabin with log burner all ready for us on arrival. Everything that I required was there when I looked. Bed was comfy. Lovely to look out of the window and see chickens geese and ducks. The owners are very welcoming and were happy for our dog to have free run of the orchard field. The owner gave us tips on where to visit and where to eat. He couldn’t be more helpful. Donkeys were very amusing.

It provides a tranquil relaxing stay when you need a peaceful getaway The lodge was clean and decorated very homely with an added bonus of a bottle of fizz in the fridge upon arrival !

We absolutely loved our long weekend at Box Cottage. It’s full of original character and is nestled in a lovely little village with an amazing pub! The cottage is quaint and pokey, but still amazing. Get the log burner going to warm the whole house up to a nice and cosy temperature.

Why stay in a hotel room out of town for more money and a single room, when you can have a house ?!?! There was EVERYTHING you needed within this house from cooking utensils to TV and entertainment. Ideal for a family with a couple of young kids - Perfect. Great instructions from owners via email.

Great cottage everything there we needed lovely and cosy and wonderful host who had a bottle of wine left out for us and a cake in fridge . Would definitely recommend and hope to return again in future.

Offering free private parking, this 3-star holiday home also features free WiFi. This little cottage was perfect. Very comfortably furnished, and the kitchen had everything you could need. The cottage was very clean and well organized. The host was very friendly and even brought over some local strawberries. I was made to feel welcome immediately. There are some beautiful English heritage sites to visit nearby, and the local pub they recommended was great.

The towels and robes were provided and ample. The wine and cake for us upon arrival was a thoughtful touch.
