The manager on check in was lovely as I had made a mistake on my booking, but he helped me to correct. The manager of the restaurant was wonderfully lovely, had a chat, helpful on the area and just perfect Also had the added bonus of northern lights that night which she told us had been sighted allowing us the time to leave and capture them

Great breakfast. Great room. I hope they do well.

I think what makes me think of this place as even more magical and unforgettable than it is anyway is its artwork - it was stunning and utterly heartwarming in its simplicity. Perfect value for money and location. The place was perfectly clean and the bathroom was a stunner with its space, modern decor and heated floors. Our stay there was a seamless and magical experience.

Opened in July 2018, Hótel Kría is situated in Vík. Among the various facilities are a garden and a bar. There is a restaurant. The black sand beaches begin about 5 minutes' walk from the hotel.

All rooms have a modern interior design and are fully equipped with complimentary WiFi, communal area, LCD, Satellite TV, hairdryer, clothing rack, extra pillows, phone, soap, and a kettle with tea and coffee. The rooms are fitted with a desk and a private bathroom. We liked the hotel. Our room was basic but comfortable. Very good restaurant with great view and bar. We had a problem during check-in and I liked a way how the personal solved it.

Some of Geirland’s cosy rooms are set in individual cottages in the garden. Free Wi-Fi is available in the main building. The rooms were sparkling clean and was very spacious and comfortable. We say northern lights from right outside of our room. Will totally stay again !
