Staff was also consistently very helpful and friendly. The ambience in the lobby area was really warm and inviting.

They don't speak much English but have endless patience speaking with phone translators. They offer a free shuttle bus to hotel guests. To get to the hotel from lake shikotsu village at 15:30 and 17:30. And to leave the hotel at 9am and 10am.
