Every morning and evening, we could watch them taking a bath in the river, and we also participated in the feeding activity in the morning. The staff at Sapana Village Lodge are incredibly nice and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and were always available with a smile.

Shiva’s Hippies Colony in Sauraha is not just a guesthouse , it is a home. Raj and Swastika form a lovely family. Kind, respectful and human, they welcome you not as a customer but as a friend. From the very first moment, you feel safe, at ease, and truly seen. It’s a typical Nepali family setting, where you can experience something truly different. They are not acting kind, they are kind. Authentically. You can feel it in everything they do. I kept extending my stay, day after day. I only left because I couldn’t change my flight ticket. They can help you arrange any activity such as jungle walks, jeep safaris, canoe rides. Pick-up and drop-off are available too, to and from the bus park. They provide bycicles for free, the Wi-Fi is excellent, and the chill-out area invites you to relax, read, meditate, or simply be. The rooms are clean and comfortable, matress is top quality and the food is nourishing and delicious, and the pool is a big bonus. If you are heading to Sauraha and want to experience something deeper than just transactions and services (not blaming anyone,it’s just not my cup of tea), look no further. This is your place. Go with time. Let yourself slow down.

Spacious room, delicious nepali dishes and a very comfortable atmosphere with a beautiful garden. Plus staffs are very friendly and fun loving. Better to bring families and friends when u have the stay. I will definitely visit Travellers Jungle camp the next time I come to Nepal.

Loved everything, there is nothing that I didn’t like about this property from comfortable stay to the hospitality and food. I really felt special being here. In fact they took way too good care of me that I feel it sets the bar for future travels. Basu dropped me to the bus stand on his bike and helped me to book my jeep safari. The other person who was at the hotel was an excellent person. I loved simple Nepali thali set/ simple, clean meal with home grown vegetables- I mean what else you need. With the price it’s exceptional. I’m gonna miss them :)) thank you so much for making my trip amazing
