Amazing location with the best view straight from the bed. The hotel is a little outdated, but everything is extremely clean. Room was really spacious, bed very comfortable, there was kettle and the fridge also. Restaurant serves very good meals.

The lounge and bedroom had huge picture windows looking out over the lake. The location was good, easy walking distance to bars and restaurants.

The Ruapehu Park Hotel is at the foot of a large ski field and volcano at Mt Ruapehu. It is surrounded by two other famous mountains Ngauruhoe and Tongariro. We really loved the family rooms - they were warm despite the cold temperatures. The hot water systems (i.e. the showers) were excellent. Finding the hotel and accessing the car park was also very easy. The restaurant (the spiral) also served very high quality food. The cost of the rooms was outstanding value for money.

Situated in a quiet location off the main highway in National Park Village, Adventure Lodge and Motel is family-run accommodation offering free unlimited Wi-Fi access and a comfortable guest lounge with satellite TV and an open fireplace. The best thing about this place are the people there. Gillian and John were kindness personified. Gillian offered to come pick me up from the train station and guided me well when the tour I had book was cancelled, helping me complete my trek. The packed lunch, their breakfast options and spa pool after a hard day of climbing were all perfect. Highly recommend this place for the warmth and affection of the hosts.

Free WiFi is available. The hot pools, which run 24/7 were awesome and very warm. Three out of four pools were operating during our stay and they can be locked, so they become private pools. When we went for a bath in a pool after dinner, only one was occupied. Rooms were very clean and heating was turned on since it was already a bit chilly outside.
