All accommodation is heated and features a private bathroom, refrigerator and TV. Wi-Fi access is available. Apparently the rooms were renovated 5 years ago but they are still spotless. Real quality in the kitchen, wonderful comfortable bed and the first bathroom on our trip that didn’t have some sort of issue, in fact it was super. Great location, super friendly and helpful hosts , I doubt there’s much better comfort and value in Okakune .

The Ruapehu Park Hotel is at the foot of a large ski field and volcano at Mt Ruapehu. It is surrounded by two other famous mountains Ngauruhoe and Tongariro. Perfect for my family of three traveling through NZ. The staff are friendly and helpful. The resturant is quite good too.

Free WiFi is available. The hot pools, which run 24/7 were awesome and very warm. Three out of four pools were operating during our stay and they can be locked, so they become private pools. When we went for a bath in a pool after dinner, only one was occupied. Rooms were very clean and heating was turned on since it was already a bit chilly outside.
