Iannis greeted us as we arrived and showed us around the quaint house, giving us insight into the history and culture of the house and Finland. The house was clean and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Sauna was easy to use. Iannis had provided a wide selection of breakfast products, including some gluten free, and clearly loved children as provided little treats for them, too. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

The place was exceptional, it was a beautiful area. Walking distance to town, but still in a quiet area that felt like you were a part of the nature. Our hosts Tero and Kirsi (and the lovely dog Remu) were amazing, they were so kind and generous, and had wonderful suggestions, great company. Could not have asked for a better place, or better hosts.

Jani was really helpful and provided us with lots of information, villa was really clean and facilities were great, (sauna, washing machine, dishwasher, hairdryer etc). Could see the northern lights on our last night too!

Everything about our stay here was wonderful — the high-end facilities, the comfortable environment, and the cozy bed, blanket, and pillows all made for a perfect night’s sleep. The host has kept the place spotless and practical, making it feel just like home. At night, we could even see the Northern Lights, take a walk along the nearby trails, make a fire, have a picnic, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The bathroom was fully equipped, including a sauna. There was also a washing machine, kitchen, dishwasher, and oven — everything we needed! This place truly deserves an excellent review and is definitely worth staying at again. I’ll miss everything about being there, as well as the lovely host family. We are from Taiwan 🇹🇼

    This is one of the best villas we’ve stayed in. It is better in reality than in the pictures. The villa was extremely clean, spacious, very well equipped and with lots of windows and lovely views towards the frozen lake just in front of it. We even spotted an aurora above the lake one of the nights. There is a sauna, a jacuzzi, a lovely hut for roasting sausages over a fire and lots of common space inside the house for friends to get together. Rovaniemi is at a 5-min drive from the villa. We would love to be back again to this beautiful home.
