An amazing cottage nestled amidst the Lapish woods, offering a true gem for relaxation and witnessing the northern lights from the yard. Our group of four had an absolutely fantastic stay, though we recommend that you have a car for this cottage since it is a 40-minute' drive from Rovaniemi or other places you may wish to visit. The house itself is fully equipped and you have everything for a comfortable stay in the Arctic. The sauna, baby reindeers outside, and the surrounding views are a bonus. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back next year.

About the property and the host, there's so much that could be said and written. But I know everyone is interested in the specifics, so I’ll focus on that. The House: Very spacious: plenty of bedrooms and lots of room in each. Well-equipped: we didn’t lack for anything, literally. There was even a screwdriver and batteries available! Cozy and, most importantly, very clean. We stayed comfortably with 10 people, and there was easily room for another 5. Loads of extra equipment: ice skates, sleds, a gym, toys, child seats, a playground, and a private yard with another playground. The option to rent a 9-seater bus (SUPER OPTION!). The Host: Very kind and helpful. Always willing to offer advice and never refused to provide information. Helped us handle various matters. Recommended places worth visiting and shared contacts for people organizing them. Checked in to see if everything was okay or if we needed anything. Overall: I highly recommend this place! We had an amazing time in a very friendly atmosphere. Definitely a 10/10 experience!

We were a group of 7 and a little dog. The house is spacious, fitted to accommodate at least two families (which was our case) in a way that everybody can have its own space and interact with each other at the same time. The big bonus for us was the sauna, great way to relax in the evening. The kitchen well equipped, no need to bring your coffee and tee, previous guests left leftovers of their coffee, tee and even pasta. Unfortunately, we were not lucky with the weather and could not see the Aurora but the house is away from the city and if there would have been an opening in the sky it would have been possible to enjoy the Nordic lights from the house. The host (and her daughter) were also very helpful with ideas about available activities in the area. We highly recommend the place and we would come back.

Gorgeous, clean, warm accommodation in quiet residential area just outside the city. Taxi's are expensive into Santa Claus Village, (around 50euros each way) but we saw the northern lights from the accommodation even with low activity which we probably wouldn't have in the city. Really gorgeous place. Sauna was great, beds all really comfy. And large outdoor area at the back for the kids to place in the snow! We got a gorgeous Chinese delivered from 4km away!

Incredible location and wonderful hosts! Loved the frozen lake and the wonderful house. Very clean and tidy and the hosts were very accommodating.
