Attention to detail. Everything appeared new, clean and neat as a pin. Marie left a very generous welcome hamper for us ( fresh eggs, butter, cheese, chocolates, fruit, wine, local newspaper) which was quite a surprise. Loved the location which made it easy for us the explore the North of Isle of Skye, and all the points of interest associated with its history. Thankyou for your warm welcome Marie, and for your great communication leading up to our stay.. Knowing we were staying on the property where at least 3 generations of the same family had lived made it very memorable.

The location was amazing, the house itself was just perfect. It was clean, comfortable, well equipped, warm, cosy and had spaces to sit and enjoy the view. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay at Callanish Pod. Ideal size, comfortable, excellent hosts. I arrived very late and they stayed up to settle me in which was welcome after a hard long journey. The place is very comfortable and warm, a necessity after tramping the peat bogs all day. Literally 300m from the main Callanish stone circle, so you can stroll at evening or dawn to catch the fabulous sunrise and sets. Very reasonably priced and much preferred staying in Callanish to busy Stornoway. The hosts are massively helpful, imformative, and the bottle of wine was a lovely touch! Giving a (rare for me) 10/10!
