Rowan cottage was within easy walking distance to the centre of Portree my granddaughter found a quick route on an app the location was really quiet, cottage is very cosy beds are comfortable. lots of piping hot water , great shower. the kitchen is well equipped. We had a wonderful time in Skye the weather for April was terrific after longs days sightseeing it was so lovely to come back to a log fire.

Great views, really nice cottage to prepare Food and relax after the day at Skye. Also, the hosts answered every time really nicely no matter what i asked. The cottage was so idyllic - lovely sheeps everywhere! <3 Also, co-op was just from 15 minute drive from the cottage so we were able to buy groceries before arriving to the cottage. There was salt for the next ten years so that you don’t need to buy. :D We arrived at day light so we were able to find the place easily. But I would also recommend arriving before dark :)

We travelled around Scotland and this was by far our favourite accommodation. It was beautifully decorated and in the most scenic location, just like the photos. Very well equipped with all the facilities you could need and not far from Portree town. The communication was great and easy contactless check in and out. I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend it and hope I can visit again some day.

The location of the house is so amazing and peaceful. Our hosts Adam and Caitlin were very friendly and responsive. The house was really clean and cozy with everything available that you need. We were welcomed with a box of tea cakes and a bottle of wine. This was the best stay for our trip through Scotland. If you plan to visit Portree whether with Friends or with Family, I can definitely recommend this stay. 😊
