We stayed 4 nights in this property and it was my best experience from my whole trip in Indonesia. Hero and Dani are the best hosts ever, they like to share the sasak culture and teach a lot of things about traditions, food, everything… We met a lot of local people, even participated to a traditional wedding, went to teach English to children, it was so enriching. We felt like a part of a big family. I will miss you guys, I hope I could come back to see you again. Don’t hesitate to go in this place, I recommend 100 % !

Tetebatu is the kind of place where you get a real taste of real people in a beautiful community that does not have a lot, but is wealthy in family, community, hard work, determination, kindness and hospitality. Our hosts went beyond to support our stay and help us navigate the place, the activities and made things so much easier. The room was great, the location was peaceful, and the young guys offering their personal scooters and helping us find places to go was fantastic. It has been the best part of my travels in Indonesia so far.

I loved the quietness of the place and being in nature. Beautiful nearby waterfall. And very kind people. I had the option to try cook local cuisine, I tried some local cuisine and got a fresh coconut right from their garden. Thank you for a lovely care.

We had a truly incredible three days at the villa and with Abdi, who was there for us throughout our stay. I had a really wonderful stay at this villa! From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was top-notch. The owner was incredibly friendly and attentive—she went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and had everything I needed. On the first day, she even treated me to a delicious bowl of meatball noodle soup with peanuts and sambal. It was amazing—full of flavor and a perfect welcome meal. She also provided a scooter for me, and when I mentioned I wasn’t too happy with it, she quickly arranged a better one without any fuss. That kind of responsiveness really made a difference. The villa itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was plenty of light when needed, but also great blinds that made the room perfectly dark for sleeping. I also appreciated the small touches, like receiving two bottles of water every day. The outdoor area was also a highlight. The pool was clean and inviting, and there were bean bags set up in a beautiful garden where you could just relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. As for the location, it was perfect for me—peaceful and away from the busy traffic of Mataram, but still super convenient. With a scooter, you can reach restaurants, a gym, a money exchange office, and laundry services all within 10 minutes. All in all, I would absolutely recommend this villa to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality. It truly felt like a home away from home.

We had an amazing stay at Sunset Bungalow. The place is new, really pretty and clean. Suhardi & Hartini were such a genuinely kind and welcoming couple. They take us on a slightly off the beaten path tour around the rice fields and the forest (I usually don’t use guides, but I really recommend going with them), showed us how to make coconut oil, invited us for tea many times and gifted us so many nice things. 100000% recommend staying at theirs.

Bungalows are super new, clean and tidy. Surrounding area with rice terraces, vegetable yards and cocount trees is beautiful and peaceful. Host Mahmet is super responsive and friendly, ask him for tours or anything else! And his mom prepares really good food - seriously it tastes very good and healthy. Generally, I would call the value for the price is one of the best I experienced recently in Bali- Gili-Lombok.
