We stayed at Shana Homestay twice during our time in Bali. We booked two rooms on both occasions. Our total three night experience was outstanding. Firstly, the atmosphere of this place is fantastic. Despite being on a very busy street, the serenity and calm once inside the property is remarkable. This is also aided by the property being a traditional Balinese house - beautiful architecture and structure which gives you a real sense of what living in Bali is like. Secondly, the rooms were also super clean, comfortable and very spacious. There was plenty of room to store luggage, walk around and get ample sunlight from the windows. The beds were also very comfortable to sleep on. Finally, the hosts are wonderful. Yoyok and his family were very welcoming and accommodating in all aspects. They always interacted with us with respect and a smile, which goes a long way. Yoyok was instrumental in organising 4 taxis that we booked for prices that were lower than Grab/Gojek. He also helped us get some laundry and ironing done and also made homemade breakfast at 6:30am one day. Not to mention giving us lots of useful information about what to see, how much time to give something and what to expect. Thank you Yoyok and the wider family!

We loved our stay at Agastya. Firstly, the staff were so friendly and helpful. They didn't even charge for our coconuts. The villa was beautiful and the bath was so big and amazing. The villa was located in a more quiet part of Ubud and was around a 25 minute walk from the main area, but there are still places to eat nearby. The bed was huge and there was Netflix on the TV. Overall, such a beautiful villa - we even got a souveineer at the end of the stay.

The villa's design captured every detail, from elegant furnishings to thoughtful touches that created an inviting, luxurious space. The private outdoor pool was stunning, allowing us to relax in complete privacy and soak in the beauty of Ubud’s lush surroundings. The service at Ambengan Villas was exceptional—the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive to every request. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment, from offering room service to responding promptly to any need via mobile. They even provided in-room massage services, which was a wonderful way to unwind after a day of exploring. For my partner’s 30th birthday, the team made extra-special efforts to create a memorable celebration. They surprised us with beautiful flower decorations throughout the villa, set up a luxurious bath decoration, and served a delicious floating breakfast in our private pool—a truly unique experience! Despite a little rain later on, the staff worked tirelessly to make sure the celebrations went smoothly, adding an extra layer of care and personal touch. The villa itself had all the amenities we could ask for, including a lovely bathtub where we could unwind in style. Located just a short distance from central Ubud, the villa offered the perfect balance between seclusion and convenience. We could easily explore Ubud’s vibrant culture and attractions, knowing we could return to our peaceful sanctuary whenever we wanted.     We had a long stay for 25 days and couldn't recommend Sativa Villas higher. All the staff were exceptional and made us feel like an extension of their family. Wonderful service, great Balinese hospitality and effortless with all logistics. Meals were fresh, delicious and prepared on request. Clean facilities, Wonderful private pool and very private villa.
