The house is very nice and spacious and fitted our group (2 families, so 4 adults an and 5 children between 11 & and 17 ) very comfortably. The location is perfect : near to the beach for a quick swim at all times of the day, and centrally located to visit the island and the museums. The host was extremely friendly and helpful , with very swift communication. We really enjoyed our stay ! Very much recommended.

Everything. Masako has been an incredible, generous host. The house couldn't be better, and the location and electric bikes were perfect. Incredible service, and passion to host in the best possible manner. They even picked us up at the harbor. Masako has great restaurant recommendations , and she made the reservation for us. Best one, Ebisukamo. A must on the island. Thank you Masako. We hope we will be back one day.

Our hosts were extremely attentive and helpful. They gave us rides when we needed them, which was so helpful as the house is a little far from the port or train station. Their little house was spotless and very comfortable. The bedding/futons were thick and new--the sheets were also new and had a high thread count. We were provided everything we needed--towels, soaps, shampoos, etc. Could not ask for a sweeter little house or nicer hosts!

words cannot being to make this place justice. if you have the chance to stay here—do it. in a small island off the coast of naoshima, the most stunning restored japanese house, filled with art, records, insanely beautiful furniture, and the most comfortable beds you can imagine which are a dream after a long day of biking around the nearby islands. every room in yota's house is a universe on its own—we could have stayed forever exploring all the magazines and listening to all the CDs and records, and eating all the delicious food! every dinner dish was so flavorful and delicious, it was by far one of the best meals of my life and the highlight of my trip to japan. my friend and i will cherish these memories forever. thank you so much yota-san!
