Right in the nature property with lovely sunset and nightsky views Mahesh is the best host/brother with his lovely family who will make you feel right at home with super tasty breakfast which is more like brunch with all the lovely dishes Mahesh and his wife makes, with fresh fruits and tea/coffee Villa is very cozy and comfortable with lounge pool too, AC works perfectly Mahesh has decorated the property very thoughtfully I also got chance to play carrom and cards with the family and Mahesh's son Gitesh is the master of Carrom 🫡it is definitely one of the highlights of my trip The villa is close to all the nearby main nature spots of Minneriya National Park, Ritigala, Sigiriya all 20 mins scooty ride from Ship Villa Couldn't have asked for a better stay, grateful to Mahesh and his genuine family ❤️ will definitely come back! Priceless experience

Little oasis inmiddle of the jungle. Calm and relaxed atmosphere, extremely kind and helpful staff. Relaxing in and around the pool after a hot day of visiting Dambulla or Sigiriya felt like paradise. Our villa was in excellent condition and we all slept very well in the cosy beds. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness!

Everything. The staff were so friendly from the offset, and everything just progressed from then on. The rooms were amazing, very spacious and as the hotel is small - the quality of the stay was just superb. The hotel is beautifully located, set within the jungle and just a few mins Tuk Tuk away from Sigiriya, and Pidurangala! And finally, the food. The food was exquisite, and be sure to experience as much from the menu as possible. I’m still sure that the Sri Lankan breakfast at Roo Mansala is the best thing I have ever eaten. A truly luxurious boutique with a very intimate and welcoming atmosphere!

We had a clean room on the first floor. The hosts were very friendly and cooked us a very tasty rice and curry dinner. The location is very close to Sigiria and Pidurangala, we could get there by foot. Also the hosts dropped us to see sunrise on Pidurangala for free, it was very nice. Thank you for that stay 🙏

If we could give an 11 we would! Very clean, view is phenomenal & Lalantha & his family were fabulous hosts. So helpful, shared their hospitality and their knowledge of the area. Birdwatching with a view of Lion Rock is a wonderful experience. The food is delicious, breakfasts are generous & tasty. If you have the option of the dinner - take it! 9 curries, the best meal we had in Sri Lanka. Lalantha showed us lakes at sunset which were great for birdwatching. He also arranged our transport to Polunuwara & onwards to Kandy. He also provides tuk tuk service into town. I must also mention Lalantha’s assistance with helping me with internet & wifi for a very important meeting.

One of the most beautiful places we stayed on sri lanka. Located in the jungle this beautiful house is an oasis of peace. Style and decoration outstanding and the housekeepers are so sweet! They provided breakfast and dinner in sri lankan style and were so welcoming. On the last day we got to meet the owner and had interesting conversations. This is a personal recommendation!

I've just had the most amazing 3 day stay at the family run Harini Villa. It's situated a 5 min walk from the main Junction bus stop & restaurants & it's lovely & peaceful. The room itself was perfect & spotless with a lovely patio area at the front where I had an amazing breakfast while watching the birds & monkeys. Breakfast was made & served by Dinu & it was delicious. Dinu took care to accommodate my request for gluten free food which I'm very grateful for. She also introduced me to a new dish each day (in addition to what else I was served). I had lovely chats with Wicky the owner, he was very attentive & made sure I had everything I needed & was comfortable. Pathum took me on a trip to Polonnaruwa & was a safe & efficient driver & he also made a suggestion to add in a trip to the Spice garden on the way back, which was very enjoyable. All up I would highly recommend staying at Harini - the beautiful & kind family will look after you. I hope that one day I will be able to stay here again - thankyou so much for looking after me!
