A very comfortable apartment covering the entire lower floor of the house. It is located is a pleasant village, which has many shops along the main road. Only 20 m away is a well-stocked supermarket Winner's. The owner provided all the information that we needed to explore the southern part of Mauritius. The kitchen is fully equipped and we felt like at home.

The house was clean, facilities were excellent, especially the bathroom and toilets. The co-host Shenaaz, and the other lady who met us, were very pleasant and kind - even showed us how to get into the local shops and restaurants.

Spent my first week of 2 months in Mauritius here and it was really an excellent experience and a great start on the island. Veemala and Ved are one of the loveliest hosts i’ve ever met, trying to make your stay as comfortable as possible, were even trying to arrange several things before my trip to Mauritius. The unit is located on the top floor with separate entrance and great privacy. There are also not many other buildings around, so you have a nice view and privacy on the lovely terrace as well. The place was very clean and there was always more than enough hot water for showering. The beds were extremely comfortable too and i actually slept better than at home. The breakfast was very delicious, rich and most of the time enough to get me through the day with no (or just a light one) lunch needed. I also had to work from time to time and the internet was fast enough and stable. A car is recommended, in case you want to visit something beyond the nearby Plaisance centre. The place is also ideal if you don’t want to stress yourself out before or after the flight due to its distance from the airport (however still in a good distance not to be disturbed by any of the airplane noises).

I stayed at Almiste Villa Mare dʼAlbert for four nights with my wife and my 6 month old baby, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The villa was perfect for a couple traveling with a baby, thoughtfully laid out, comfortable, and very well suited to our needs. One of the standout aspects was the warm welcome and outstanding hospitality from the hosts. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we felt at home. From helpful tips to little thoughtful touches, their genuine care really made a difference in our stay. The villa itself was clean, modern, and well maintained, with all the amenities we needed readily available. The comfort level was excellent, from the bed to the overall layout, everything felt easy and relaxing. We especially appreciated the covered lean-to area against the guest villa, which allowed us to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air even during a bit of rain. The pool also looked beautifully maintained despite us not being able to use it due to the weather. Overall, Almiste Villa Mare dʼAlbert is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay in the area. We would happily return and highly recommend it.

The flat is amazing, 2 bedrooms, 2 terraces with sunbeds, table and chairs, spacious living room with fully equipped kitchen and huge bathroom with a shower and a a tub. Everything is impecable clean and beautifully decorated. There is everything you could possibly need, even a washing machine... ( including first aid kit, sewing kit, hair dryer, iron...) The owner, Ursula, is very kind and friendly.. she arranged a scooter rental for us and gave us many tips. Centric location, few minutes walking from restaurants and supermarket. We loved our stay there. It was even better than we expected. :)

    Very welcoming hosts , they facilitate everything : Accommodation, recommendations of places , renting vehicles. The property is located in a quiet town, but typical Mauritian town. Close from beaches , a supermarket 10 minutes by foot. Villa Jehan is spacious , very clean and everything you need is there . The pool is also nice and clean , Reshad and his Wife clean it regularly but ask if it is ok to access the property. I recommend it !

    The host and his wife were super friendly. When we arrived they showed us around the house. You always get the complete vila for yourself so you don't have to share anything with strangers. The villa was clean and the environment is also very quiet. We were able to park our car inside. The location itself is perfect, close to Gris Gris beach. The host also gave a lot of recommendations in the neighbourhood . They were very helpful and made us first stay in Mauritius incredible.
