Super cute cottages with everything you could possibly need during your stay. We especially appreciated that the use of the washer and dryer was included at no additional cost (even the washing powder!). They have a “contactless” check-in process: they send all the information you need to access the cottage ahead of your stay, although the owners live right next door and are available. About a 10-minute walk from the Hokitika town center and a short drive from the Glow Worm Dell. This was a great stop on our drive along the West Coast.

I knew the house was in town, so I was expecting the location to be central. But I wasn’t expecting ocean just a few steps from the backyard terrace. You can literally just jump from the backyard to the most charming driftwood beach. We enjoyed the wonderful sunsets and also stormy sceneries. Big New World -supermarket very close. Gareth was super nice and flexible host and the house was spotless. A good wifi as well. If you’re visiting Hokitika, I couldn’t imagine a better place.

The was a fantastic stay! The host is very kind! The house was very well organized, super clean and comfortable. Lots of towels, nice snacks in the fridge. Very generous host. The house is spacious and has many places to sit and relax, also outside. Very beautiful decorations. We had an amazing time and highly recommend!

The hosts were incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond. The tiny house was cosy and clean. The location was close enough to everything you want to see in Hokitika.
