Our glass igloo stay here was excellent! The bed is very comfortable and the hosts gave us a warm welcome! Although the room is a bit small, it has all the essentials tightly packed in different areas of the room. They also helped us book several activities we were interested in, such as Snow mobiling, Aurora hunting night tour with barbecue, and Day trip to the nearby Abisko National Park. The breakfast spread was amazing and the bread, vegetables, cheese and meat served are fresh and delicious! On the 2 nights we stayed here, we were lucky enough to see beautiful 360 degree vies of the aurora from the frozen river just a few meters away. After seeing enough of the northern lights from outside the room, we could also cozy up inside the glass igloo and see the dancing aurora display straight from our bed! The property also is quite close to forests and on one of the stays we saw a few reindeers roaming around the property in the evening. The stay comes with complimentary pick up and drop off from/at Kiruna train station as part of our stay, and a 1-hour session in the sauna, which is quite a bonus.

This stay was a super remote one which doesn't even pop up on a map unless you have the shared GPS coordinates. A cozy cabin with an incredible lake view was all we could ask for. Most importantly, given how remote the accomodation is, we had Stefan who drove us from the main camp to our lodge, and from the lodge to the airport. At every point, he ensured we had all the information we need to make our stay comfortable and memorable. He was also very friendly and very knowledgeable. A big shout-out to Stefan to making our stay a memorable one. The property is incredible and given how remote it is, it is a great space to switch off and enjoy the serenity of mother nature.

Wonderful place for some lazy days. The cabin is awesome and close to lake with snowmobiles passing by. Thats so cool. Close to icehotel and kiruna city for shopping. Thanks for a couple of lovely days up here.

This place is perfect if you want a quiet location with Alttajärvi lake on one side and the woods and hill on the other side. We enjoyed the winter walks along the trails and walking on the lake! The location is perfect to spot northern lights and being close to IRF you can use the Aurora Alert on IRF Aurora App. Even when cloudy in Kiruna, Alttajärvi had clear sky with amazing star display of the milky way. Not much light pollution here!! Kiruna is only 15 mins away by car. The house has what you need for a few days. Washing machine has a 15min program and things dry easily over night on radiators or the clothes airer. Sheets and towels are provided. The fireplace is an extra plus! You can buy wood at petrol stations! Husky tours you will found everywhere! The mine is worth a visit! Northern light chase is for people without a car, you just need to step outside when nature decide to put on a display. Abisko has clearer nightsky so the probability to see it increases if you take yourself there.

Brice & Jessica are the best hosts one could ask for. We had the Abisko tour with them and they surprised us with snowshoes that made the experience amazing and unforgettable. And even though we had very bad luck with the weather and didn't get to see the Northern Lights, they did everything in their hands to help us. They also picked us from the airport and drove us back. We stayed in 2 different cabins, 8A and 5A. The 8A has more equipment in the kitcken, an oven, since it is a bigger cabin for more people. It has the bathroom inside the cabin as well and a fireplace. The 5A was smaller, without an oven, a small stove, the toilet is outside (shower inside) BUT there is a sauna in the cabin :D. It is possible to see the northern lights in front of the cabins and a little from inside. The cabins were super clean, smelling so good! Alex (who takes care of everything) is a really nice person! It was a great experience!

The cabin is a cozy beautiful house in the nature, just over the lake. The location is very convenient, not far from Kiruna but already out of the view of the city and the mine. Fredrik is a great guest! Very glad to had the chance to meet him!

Pretty nice and clean house in part of the town, which is still lucky to be not forced to move due to mining. Nice neighbourhood in walking distance to the main church (unfortunately it will move 8/25 to a new place in the other part of the town). We stayed overnight and everything worked just fine. Recommended.
