Amazing from start to finish. Staff so helpful with arranging a taxi to another local village and informing us of available activities like bikes, paddle boarding, yoga classes. Room was spotlessly clean with beautiful l’occitaine shower gel & shampoo!

Great breakfast spread! A nice, tranquil place for a nice retreat.

I couldn't have found it any better! The small neighbourhood has an almost village-like character and is located near the beautiful Westsee lake. There are nice cafés and restaurants all around and plenty of secular, religious and natural excursion destinations. So the location is great! What I found most wonderful was the friendliness of the owners! They were incredibly helpful and forward-thinking in every situation. Thank you for the great support for me as a foreign, non-Chinese speaking traveller.

In a quiet enclave, almost a village, off a busy road, the stylish and elegant contemporary interior design is comfortable and welcoming. The area is beautiful but therefore very popular. Sally was a perfect host, cooking beautiful Chinese and American breakfasts on alternative days. She could not have been more helpful, patient and generous. She has excellent English.

The guest house host was charming as was the village where it is located. Delicious and copious traditional Chinese breakfast. The whole area is lush and beautiful, a nice contrast from the more urban environment of Hangzhou. Within walking distance of the amazing Buddhist temple and monastery.
