All the info was very easily laid out and the house was super clean. The wood stove was all set up for us upon arrival and worked very well. Hot tub was incredible after a long day of hiking in the Cairmgorns and was very easy to use singlehandedly. Kitchen was well stocked.

It was a lovely cozy apartment, warm and had everything we needed, Tina was lovely and even did a load of washing for us. A lovely pack of strawberries awaited us and Tina suggested we have a look in her orchard and taste some of her lovely fruit. So we enjoyed some gooseberries and raspberries and black and red currants. We had a very enjoyable stay, very quiet and a really lovely comfy bed. Very peaceful area and sooo quiet. The accommodation was spotless, quiet and comfortable — the perfect place to relax after exploring the nearby distilleries and countryside. Lou and jan were truly exceptional hosts: warm, welcoming, and full of local tips that made our visit even more special. You can really tell how much care they put into every detail. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Having our own bathroom and kitchen in the pod makes it convenient and comfortable compared to similar places we have stayed in the past. We enjoyed making use of the BBQ/ fire pit that has been provided for each pod.
