My son and I are both authors and it was a perfect spot to write and a perfect setting! We enjoyed a campfire two nights in a row.

I don't think I've stayed somewhere in so long that has SUCH attention to detail. They'd thought of everything to make it an excellent experience. The village is beautiful, but expensive. There could be some more shops though. Good hikes there. Nice environment.

Beautiful quiet landscape, very kind and helpful hosts Dan and Vicky, lovely neighbours, many wonderful walking paths around... The cottage provides all you need for a short or long stay (in my case 2 weeks). It´s located just outside Box on the left driving to Corsham. The parking space is right beside it. There is a small shop in Box and a supermarket in Corsham (10 min by car). There are quite a lot maps and leaflets from the tourist information for walkings tours and interesting places to visit by car. I particularly loved Corsham (village, Corsham Court, peacocks :) ), Bath, Lacock and Avebury (stone circle larger than Stonehenge - and for free).

Our friendly host Chuck greeted us upon arrival, they kindly provided us Bread, eggs milk etc. It was great to have a washing machine to catch up on laundry, and the cottage is close to explore the Cotswold's.
