Inspite of the language barrier,THE OWNER went over and beyond to communicate and help us with all our queries...he was a very kind,pleasant and caring man....at the time of our checkout,we asked him to order for 2 taxis to drop us off to the train station..to our surprise,he dropped us off in his personal car and refused to charge us for it...this act really touched us. The LOCATION is superb,it's on t street parallel to historic street..Sanmachi street..There are a lot of restaurants close by too. I rate this home a 10/10..and will highly recommend it for your stay in TAKAYAMA

Every little thing in the kitchen and bathroom has been thoughtfully considered. The location is amazing — just a short walk from the old town. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming. I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I visit Takayama. Honestly, I’d come back to Takayama just to stay here again!
