Located in Wellington, near Wellington Botanical Gardens and Beehive Parliament Building, the historic Thorndon Heritage Listed Villa features a garden. Among the facilities at this property are luggage storage space and private check-in and check-out, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The property is non-smoking and is set 2 km from Wellington Cable Car. The apartment we stayed in was on the first floor of a villa in Thorndon, located next to the German Embassy. The bedroom was large and nicely furnished, with very comfortable beds. A second room used as lounge (technically well equipped) and a seperate bathroom were also on the first floor and to be used solely by us. The villa is located close to Old St. Pauls and the Government area and a 20 minute walk away from the city center with the wharf, points of interest, museums and shopping-opportunities. Ross is a very nice host and gave us very helpful advice as well as excellent recommendations (e.g. where to go for dinner ;o)) We had an excellent stay and - if travelling to Wellington again - will definitely try to stay at Ross's place again!

The home was absolutely spotless, great size rooms and all the amenities you need. Jenny the host was friendly and helpful in her communication. She provided very clear instruction. The property is a short walk from the Waterloo train station and there are bus stops within a very close proximity. I really liked the layout and flow of the house and the fact you separate each space with sliding doors if need be. This property was perfect and easy to access. Will definitely book here again.

Outdoor seating is also available at the villa. Wonderful place to stay. I cannot fault it. Location is great, tucked away in a small vineyard and walkable to several wineries and Gin distillery. All day sun (and great decks to enjoy the sun). Very tidy and has everything you need. Great little touches like breakfast supplies provided and oils, condiments etc available to use. Owners are very friendly and will give you a walkaround/tour of the vineyard and explain the end to end process. Would highly recommend.
