Located 2.9 km from Coral Beach, Bajamar Your Second Home Guest Property offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden and a terrace. Linda and Hilton were the most increasingly hosts. They were very kind and welcoming. I felt very safe at there property as a solo female traveller. The local beach Coral beach is a 20 min walk away along a straight road, and was one of the cleanest most quiet beaches I’ve ever been to. Port Lucaya was great for restaurants especially Agave, would recommend . I shall 100% be back in the next two years to Bajamar guest house. Five stars all round!.

Featuring a free fitness centre, Ocean Reef Yacht Club & Resort offers accommodation in Freeport. We did not eat at the resort so we can't rate the restaurant. The staff were wonderful! The one bedroom apt was super clean, spacious and had everything we needed including a beautiful view from our balcony.
For the absolute best fishing in Freeport go with Les from Lil B’s Fishing. Very reasonably priced. Perfect for beginners or advanced. We caught a 4 ft Barracuda one day. Head to Port Lucya it needs all the love it can get. Give the ladies in the straw market some business. They have had it tough since the two hurricanes & lockdown
I love the wide variety of activities that are offered in Freeport. The Port Lucaya area was very relaxing.I loved the Pelican Bay Resort. My favourite place for meals was Zorbas, which was very close to the resort.
Beautiful city and very clean Island. Beaches are pristine. The local activities like Fish Fry are a great experience. Port Lucaya Marketplace is a nice entertainment hub with lots of restaurants and bars.
The pine forests were partially destroyed by Hurricane Dorian, which flooded the island and the sea salt ended up drying the trees, which turns out to be an interesting phenomenon to observe. The all-inclusive hotels on the island are very good and the beaches are beautiful.
Freeport is not very interesting from a touristic point of view. It provides major opportunities for grocery shopping and dining, but lacks other shopping facilities and other sights. Freeport has been suffered from multiple hurricanes, that hurt the island very much. You can see a lot of scars everywhere.
Freeport is very quiet and calm place. You will feel they’re like in the small village, far from the city. Many beautiful beaches where you can be totally alone. If you want to explore the island, definitely you will need to rent a car, there are not many taxi services in the city. Also be prepared, that there are not many bars or restaurants and the shops (grocery stores) are opened until 8pm during the week days
