The studio apartment was located very close to main street, in front of a Bakery, on a quiet street, it is a short distance from Egilstadir, but if you have a car it is not a problem. It is just 30-45 min from Seydisfjord where we took the ferry the next day. The apartment was smartly decorated and had all what we need. Beds were very comfortable. excellent shower/bathroom. The host had prepared that we could make coffee or tea and there were milk in the fridge. Lots of privacy, and good parking facility directly in front of the apartment. We had considered to stay in a hotel, but this apartment was a much better solution and cheaper.

This family-run hotel enjoys a countryside location by Road 93, overlooking central Egilsstadir, 2 km away. Free WiFi access in the lobby and garden views can be enjoyed. All was perfect. Great breakfast, room very nice anda comfortable. Thanks!

Ormurinn Cottages is located in Egilsstadir. Free WiFi access is available throughout the property. We loved this cottage, it was a little heavenly home (while a snow storm was happening outside) and we felt warm, cosy & safe. Well equipped, and of course beautiful surroundings. Overlooking Lake Lagarfljót, this guest house is 5 minutes’ drive from central Egilsstadir. All rooms include free WiFi access, a fridge and a private bathroom with shower. Very clean and cozy place. The owner was very helpful. We enjoyed our staying there.
