My 5 day stay at Kubu Dimel Homestay was wonderful. The hotel is quite small but very comfortable, Indonesian style, with well-tended garden, restaurant and swimming pool. The staff was very attentive to all my needs. This hotel offers a very friendly homely atmosphere. It's true that it's about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach, but on the way there are many shops, stalls, restaurants, cafes, and a very nice park, so you won't get bored. For those who prefer running, there are many jogging tracks close to the beach and through the park - so you won't waste time on your way to the beach.

Everything functioned well. The beds were comfortable, the AC was efficient, the showers had ample pressure and water temperature, the rooms were a good size and were equipped with everything you could want. what really made the trip was the host and his family. We were a group of six who were celebrating my birthday in Bali. Billy, the host, attended to our every need - and I mean every need. From airport transfers, spa and restaurant bookings, buying us provisions from the local stores at cost price, to getting local food for breakfast, words cannot describe what a kind soul he and his family are. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels in my lifetime and never experienced such care and attention. If only all humans were like Billy, his daughter Carina and the rest of his family. I absolutely recommend this hotel.

Frangipani Homestay is where you feel like home. Wayan and her team are amazing.They do everything to make you feel special. Beautiful room with a comfortable bed and a perfectly working AC unit. Breakfast is the most delicious we have had in Bali. Definitely recommend it.
