We got upgraded to a full apartment when we arrived and the owner was kind enough to visit us and ask us about our stay. I must say I felt very welcomed and the facilities were incredible. The place is very well located and it is the perfect spot to stay. Would surely repeat if I have the chance.

Situated in Hólmavík in the West Iceland region, Beautiful house just 50 m from the sea features a patio and mountain views. The apartment had everything we needed, Including some coffee, sugar, pepper and salt, toaster, etc. the best thing was the beautiful Garden right on the water, beautiful Plantings, amazing views through the windows unto the Icelandic flowers. This Western Iceland homestay, located off the main route, at the base of Nýpurhyrna Mountain, offers panoramic views of the Breidafjördur Fjord. Everything about this guesthouse is amazing! The entire place has a great view on the water, it is very calm and peaceful and the place is beautifully decorated! The shared bathroom was great and clean, the kitchen very well equipped and the eating area has a great view! Hubert is an extraordinary person and he made sure we had everything we needed during our stay! He definitely made our time there even better! We had the most amazing time there and would absolutely recommend staying there!

Situated in Budhir, Marbakki Luxury Ocean Retreat features accommodation with a hot tub, a solarium and an open-air bath. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. Marbakki was a very beautiful, secluded property. My family and I loved the design of the house - it was very cozy and made us feel right at home. The villa had a lot of great touches including a well stocked kitchen (various spices, coffee pods, etc.) and yoga mats. The rooms were small, but the beds were very comfortable. Although there is only one bathroom, it was spacious and very clean. The outside deck overlooking the ocean and the hot tub were amazing. We enjoyed sitting and relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the ocean and mountain views. I highly recommend taking an evening or morning walk on the beach! Our family really enjoyed this villa and we will keep it on our list for future Iceland trips!
