The Kardjali Reservoir provides great summer conditions for fishing, water sports and recreation. The area also offers good conditions for cycling and eco-tourism. Staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. There was a nice kitchen where you can cook your own food with a tremendious view over the dam. Rooms were very spacious and the bathroom was very nice. There was also a fridge and a small kitchenette in the room. The facilities for kids were also great and you can take bicycles and roller skates freee of charge. It was an unforgettable trip.

Situated on the shore of Lake Kardzhali in Staro Myasto in the Kardzhali Region, Lakeview Estate B&B features modern apartments with panoramic views of the lake. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar by the lake. The view was magnificent and the space in the apartment and terrace wonderful. Fully equipped as you really do need to be self catering due to its isolation. The fridge was well stocked for breakfast, cold drinking water provided as well as tea and coffee. Very comfortable indeed. The track down to the apartments is steep and rough but we were escorted down by Shaban who settled us in and was on hand if we needed anything. He can help you restock if you run out. The only shower in Bulgaria not to flood the bathroom during our entire holiday! Lake lovely to swim in but take river shoes to make getting in easier.
