Boasting a bar and views of lake, Rivalago B&B is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Cannobio, 18 km from Piazza Grande Locarno. The B&B, Rivalago is located on the waterfront and a moderate distance from the ferry embarcadero which I only used to arrive and depart. My room was spacious and comfortable with excellent cleaning service and a fabulous view of the lake. The B&B is in a quiet location and a short walk to the restaurants along the embarcadero. I chose Cannobio because it was considerded the prettiest town on the lake although not the most convenient for seeing gardens and palazzi. Those were easily reached by regular bus service, or boat. Gaia was very helpful in determining my connections and printing schedules for me. Commuting to the gardens was a breeze! The breakfast was fresh and varied, with more selection than I would ever have at home, which was a real treat! Both Matteo and Gaia were always available to answer questions and assist with whatever I needed. Matteo even found the program I wanted on Netflix and set it to English for me. Thank you both for making my stay so special.

Located 48 km from Piazza Grande Locarno, Lago Maggiore Bay offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a private beach area and pool with a view. I liked everything about this property from saying hi at the reception until leaving the property. It was really amazing. Villa Vittoria offers accommodation in Stresa. The property has lake and garden views. All rooms have a balcony with mountain views. The view was breathtaking. Everything is so close. I just wish we stayed there more. I was ready to cancel my plans but it was already booked. The host is the most gorgeous couple and we will definitely be back! 11 out of 10!

Al San Michele features rooms in Stresa. This guest house offers luggage storage space and free WiFi. Everything is just wonderful in this lovely house. It's super cozy, clean and bright. Location is more than perfect just across the lake and the ferry stop and 5 mins from city center as well. The stuff is extremely kind and welcoming. Would definitely go there again. A recently renovated apartment, Le Ochette Di Stresa offers accommodation in Stresa. With city views, this accommodation features a balcony. The apartment has family rooms. Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location. Hosts had very kindly left a complementary bottle of wine, juices and breakfast treats. They also allowed us to keep our luggage in the apartment after check out at 10am as we were not leaving Stresa until 12.30pm. Spotless apartment with plenty of towels, toilet roll, shower/shampoo sachets etc. Also washing up liquid and cleaning products in kitchen. Highly recommend this accommodation both for comfort and it's location, so close to Church, supermarket, bars, restaurants etc
