The owner is the best host you can wish for. First day we did get an aloe vera juice, the aloe vera was from his garden. The next day we get a fresh coconut drink and after that we could eat the coconut meat, very delicious! And he also prepared a delicious meal, which was a big surprise for us. We had a lovely evening, talking and eating. The villa is beautiful, with a large garden. All the birds and monkeys we saw, it was fantastic. It is located in a quiet area with lots of greenery. We loved that! The room is equipped with a/c and a fan, a huge bed and our own bathroom. The bathroom wasn't fully finished yet, but it's only the walls that need some attention, everything else is fully functioning. We didn't mind that at all. We really recommend to stay at this villa!

Amazing small family run hotel. Extremely helpful hosts. Great location right on the beach. Perfect breakfast and dinner a la card. Highly recommend

Amssler Beach Stay biedt accommodatie met een eigen strand in Kalutara. De accommodatie heeft een eigen badkamer met een douche en een keuken met een magnetron. The guest house is located a few minutes away from the train station of Kalutara South (take a Tuktuk for 250 Lkr) or even closer to the bus (10 min walking distance). The view on the ocean from the room is fantastic, the balcony is equipped with chair so you can enjoy the view. The room is wide and confortable with a double bed and 1 table, fridge, kettle. Shops are 10 min walk from the property. Wifi is working perfectly. And there is hot water for showers. The personnel is very friendly, welcoming and helpful and can answer all your questions. I stayed there for 2 nights and went to Bentota river boat trip of 2h using the bus (30 min trip with the bus)

We had a wonderful experience at the Blue Moon Villa. We walked to the beach in the evening and it was enjoyable. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. We had a very delicious breakfast and thanks for everything. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the beach. Thank you!
