By the way, breakfasts cooked by host's mom are extremely delicious and very generous, so we even took a little with us. Host is a very friendly, helpful and easy to communicate, he helped us to book a safari. And of course it is very close to go to safari from here, only 15 minutes in the car, which will take you from hotel (and host will give you some snacks to go). Important to say that wi-fi and shower are perfect, which is not so easy to find on Sri-Lanka. Would definitely recommend!

The property has an amazing view, we watched every sunrise from our bed or balcony. The bed was comfortable and the toilet was fine. They cleaned our room after 2 days and gave us new towels as well which was a nice change.

The bedroom looks exactly like on the pictures, spotless clean, new and well equipped. We loved the view to the forest, the breakfast was excellent and our host very helpful, he gave us good tips. The Safari is a must. Would definitely recommend it!

Hosts do everything they can to respond to clients expectations. They organize Udawalawe safari using their own jeep. During the safari we saw the great variety of animals - many elephants, crocodiles, various kinds of monkeys, birds, deers, turtle and lizard. Moreover the hosts wife cooks really tasty. The dinner and breakfast (take away during the safari) was diverse and delicious.

The Countryside Udawalawe is located in Udawalawe and features a pool with a view and garden views. Really enjoyed our stay here! Staff were fantastic and provided everything we needed (including the safari). The room was bigger and better than the photos. The food was delicious, dinners were a treat. The pool was a nice touch also and we got to see some beautiful fireflies while swimming at night. Highly recommend staying here.
