Great guesthouse overall. Very nice, spacious, and clean room with modern ammenities. Owner was very welcoming and even provided fresh mangoes from the garden. Location was very easy to reach with a car and only a short drive from the wonderful Belle Mare beach. I wish I had stayed here more than one night. Overall one of the best accommations (out of 5) that we stayed in on the island. Would definitely recommend.

Where to begin… if I could put 10 stars out of 5 I would. We had one of the best stays of our life at Casa Frangipani. The room was very comfortable and clean. It is very well equipped and very nicely decorated. The balcony is very pleasant. And then there is Kerstin, an incredibly amazing woman who does her best to welcome her guests in the best way. She is very attentive and makes her best to make you feel at home and to have the best stay on her island. And she’s also funny and very easy to talk to. She has very good advices, you can listen to her. We were always pleased with her recommandations. If you go to Mauritius, you have to go stay at Casa Frangipani in Trou d’Eau Douce. Thanks again for everything and stay as you are :)

Located in Grande Rivière Sud Est, 17 km from Belle Mare, Riverside Holiday Home provides a terrace and free WiFi. Very good location with a perfectly accommodated apartment.

Horisun offers accommodation in Belle Mare. The guest house has a barbecue and terrace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. We had an exceptional stay in this accommodation. It was the perfect location to relax next to the lake before our departure from the island. Very peaceful location with nice view and nature. When we booked, we were a bit concerned of mosquitoes due to its proximity to the lake, but we had no problem at all the 3 days we stayed there. The room was very spacious and clean, the personnel very friendly, and helpful with everything we needed. The breakfast was hearty, with many local products. Totally recommended!

Set on the banks of the Grande Riviere South East river, Otentic, Eco Tent Experience offers a glamping experience featuring a swimming pool and a variety of outdoor activities. Great food, lovely staff, wonderful laid back approach to a stay. Very accommodating with checking in and out and bag drops. We loved taking the the kayaks and sups up to the waterfall. The daily trip to the beach is great and the island is incredible. Beautiful and quiet beach with nothing and hardly any people. Your own quiet paradise but take some water/drinks with you as you can’t get anything that side of the island. Mountain biking trails about 200m up the road. Beautiful walks up the mountain to waterfalls. We will be back.

Blue Ocean Suites and apartments is a set of 6 suites and apartments situated right on the beach of Trou d’Eau Douce. It was really clean and new furniture

Location is perfect, the apartment is brand new. Lots of food for breakfast. He also can arrange a day trip to Ile aux cerfs with BBQ for a very reasonable price.

Bastante espaço. Vikram is a good host who gives you good attention and is easy available when you need him. We liked the amenities he left in the fridge when we arrived. Even oil, sugar and salt available.
