Very well located, secure with safe parking and across the road from a brilliant restaurant. Breakfast is provided by a voucher here. Spacious accommodation and a "cosy" outdoor space. Mostly a business crowd and regulars, which speaks for the experience. But what makes the place special is the hosts. They know when to chat and make one feel welcome, and when to stay in the background to let guests enjoy their stay. Their staff are well trained and always cheerful. Renette's restaurant recommendations were top notch - not a bad meal while we stayed in town. When we left for our inland trip they even provided us with a well-stocked ice box. We are not normally making aquaintances on vacation. But with these two? One simply wants to stay in touch. Thank you both for your warm hospitality! Until we meet again.

Maison Ambre Guesthouse is located on the eastern slopes of Luxury Hill, less than 2 km from Windhoek’s city centre. It features a swimming pool and offers free Wi-Fi and free private parking. There was something for everyone at breakfast, and the made-to-order eggs and freshly-baked rolls were delicious. The pre-cut fruit had a variety of not-easy-to-find in Namibia treats. The hosts provided the perfect restaurant recommendations. We enjoyed the local food and wine. We appreciated the local tips and attractions. We even had three straight days of in-room massages to truly relax. This is a lovely property off the beaten path and wonderfully quiet.
