Bananoz Surfhouse is situated on the seafront in El Tránsito, a few steps from El Transito Beach. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the property and private parking is available on site. This is a really welcoming and homey place to stay run by a very sweet family who are there some weekends. The room was good and the kitchen is really nice to have. The surf is right there and the vibe of the people is friendly. Nice hammocks all around. If there had been availability I would have stayed longer for sure

Hotel Al Sole features free bikes, garden, a bar and shared lounge in León. Al Sole felt like a home away from home. Everyone at Al Sole were very friendly and extremely helpful. In the mornings breakfast was served outdoors where everyone gathered in the garden to enjoy the delicious food. The location was in a quiet area where I felt safe. The area is very walkable, or you can use the bike to get around which is provided by Al Sole.

Located in Las Peñitas, 600 metres from Las Peñitas Beach and 2.7 km from Poneloya Beach, Sea la vie casita provides air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. Great location, 2 min walk to town with all the privacy you need. The pool is AMAZING and sooo nice to have it to myself. There's a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, shower and everything you need. I feel right at home here. The best place I've ever stayed in Nicaragua for sure. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Habitación en casa Familiar is located in León and offers a terrace. This homestay features a garden and free private parking. Here, you come as a guest and feel like family! The house is huge, the neighborhood is very nice, kids out and playing until late, and it is a 20 minute walk to the main square of Leon. (There's also a c$6 bus that stops outside the front door, and taxis are about c$50). You get a look into parts of the town that are not the center. Breakfast was excellent and varied, and the Wi-Fi clocked in at 50Mbps so easily fast enough for Zoom calls and the like. If you have an oversized vehicle, there is a secured lot around the corner (in front of the basketball court) that charges c$30/day. The on-site garage will handle regular vehicles.

Situated within 80 metres of Las Peñitas Beach and 1.4 km of Poneloya Beach, JAKES ON THE BEACH features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Las Peñitas. Breakfast was good. Pool was great. Coffee always was available. Ocean was great for swimming. Rooms were excellent

The Wabi Sabi is a recently renovated guest house in León, where guests can makes the most of its outdoor swimming pool, garden and bar. Feels like home away from home. Really enjoyed the kitchen and chill area. Staff is very nice and helpful.

Boasting inner courtyard views, Nimbu Beachhouse offers accommodation with a garden, around a few steps from El Transito Beach. Really nice accommodation, felt more like an air B&B. Location was great right on the beach. Had to walk up the beach a bit for easier waves but waves right outside the door for more advanced surfers. The vibe was amazing , everyone , guest , staff, volunteers all so welcoming and warm! Highly recommend! Thanks Karin, Gretel, Lucy ,Chris & the rest of th team!

Located just a few steps from El Transito Beach, Casa Todo Bueno features accommodation in El Tránsito with access to an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, as well as a shared kitchen. Made to feel right at home. Very chilled couple who when you first get there tell you to treat it like your home. And they make you feel it too. Great location away from the main town but only a five minute walk along the beach into town. Great facilities and very clean. Worth the visit and can't wait to go back.

Hostal San Antonio features a garden and a shared lounge in León. This bed and breakfast features free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. Really lovely and helpful staff! Very spacious bathroom and we loved the little terrace.

Situated in León in the Leon Region region, El Callejon Guest House has a patio. This homestay provides air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. The room was so clean and they gave us fresh towels and clean bedding each night (we stayed for 2 nights). The shared bathroom felt more like a private one and was only shared with one other room. The location was great with a short walk to the center and lots of restaurants close by. The owners were wonderful and welcoming. We had to leave at 2am for our shuttle and they kept the door open so we could leave easily.
