Each unit is equipped with seating area, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a kitchenette, dining area and private bathrooms. All units include a desk. The breakfast was okay. Another choice of green vegetables would be nice. It is a little too protein heavy. Cut cucumbers, onions and peppers would suffice. Other options of hot drinks would be appreciated too.

Situated on the banks of the lower Chobe River in the Kasane region, River View Lodge offers rooms and chalet accommodation with river and garden views as well as an outdoor pool.

The rooms and chalets features an en-suite bathroom and a private veranda. They also offer air conditioning, a ceiling fan and tea-and-coffee making facilities. Everything was made with love (e.g. dinner, room decorations) and perfectly orchestrated (e.g. activities). Everyone was very caring (e.g. helping us see leopards during game drives :D). We could feel they wanted us to have the best possible stay and we did! We'll definitely come back to their lodge for our next trip to Botswana.

The chalets have an open plan lounge with sleeper couch and adjoining kitchenette with 2-plate stove and microwave.They offer a verandah, TV, BBQ facilities and a bathroom with shower. Guests can enjoy garden views. Free WiFi is available. Very nice and friendly staff. Arranged a fun small boat nature tour for us and recommended local restaurants. Homey atmosphere in a handful of individual cottages with small living room and kitchen. Easy gated parking. Close to Chobe National Park.

Thobolo's Bush Lodge is situated within 14 km of Kachikau, 26 km from the Chobe Forest Reserve.

Guests can enjoy a drink at the on-site bar overlooking the natural landscape where wildlife can often be seen. The property also offers mini-market. The location was attractive and interesting , far away from any civilization. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. .The food was excellent and well served. You need a 4x4 to get there because of the sand. Highly recommended.

Located 60 km from the town of Kasane, Muchenje Campsite and Cottages is close to the Ngoma Gate of the Chobe National Park.

Muchenje Campsite and Cottages offers three self-catering units, each featuring an open-plan kitchenette that is equipped with an oven, toaster and refrigerator. This campsite was recommended to us by other travellers and we were not disappointed as it is an excellent place to stay. The cottages and camp site are located about 15 mins from Ngoma on the Botswana side of the border. We stayed in a self-catering cottage and would describe the facilities as excellent. The cottage had a queen size bed with mosquito net, a sofa which could be used as a bed, a large ensuite bathroom with an outside shower accessed from inside the bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. There is also an outdoor deck and table, and a braai for cooking. The reception has a well stocked shop with food, their own grown produce, and craft items for sale. There is wifi at reception area, plus complimentary tea and coffee, wit the option to buy coffee pods for the coffee machine. Staff were really helpful and organised an early check-in for us – the communication was excellent. The site also has campsites and ‘glamping’ tents, a swimming pool and a deck overlooking the Chobe river. We would definitely stay again.

African Sunsets (Bophirimo Self-Catering Guest House), a property with a garden, is situated in Kasane, 2.4 km from Baobab Prison Tree Kasane, 4.2 km from Sedudu Gate Chobe National Park, as well as 4.5 km from Mowana Golf Course. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. We enjoyed the lovely garden setting of the home we rented. The gardeners kept it very nice and well maintained. Also, the cleaning team was exceptional in their daily cleaning and availability. Also, the host Miles, was very knowledgeable and helped us choose the right person for our river boat cruise. The river guide was great and shared his years of knowledge growing up in the area.

The rooms at The Big 5 Chobe Lodge feature a bathroom with shower and all beds are draped with a mosquito net. Amazing,friendly staff that went out of their way, to make our stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. The food was delicious and top level.
