Great Donau bike routes, e.g. to Linz or the Eferding land...
Great Donau bike routes, e.g. to Linz or the Eferding land route. A couple of good restaurants (e.g. Wögerer) but beware: not open for diner every day. Beautiful walking trail at Pesenbachtal near Mühlacker. The Badesee (actually 4 of them) great for sunbathing and swimming. A Golf court with an Italian restaurant. A great place for people who seek a couple of relaxing days in a rural environment with the beautiful city of Linz at some 20 km distance.

The room was spacious although perhaps a bit old-fashioned. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant, which is highly recommended. The staff was very friendly throughout our stay. Cycling the Danube, the Hotel is located up a short steep climb. Note to cyclists: Secure bicycle storage and if approaching from the other side of the river, the bridge does have a dedicated cycle path(Upstream side).
