Several people tried to talk me out of visiting Bunbury as it has a reputation as having a lot of homeless people and drug abuse. The streets are crowded with discarded trash and furniture. However, there is a beautiful beach which wasn't crowded.

Bunbury is a beautiful seaside town with accessible beaches that go on forever. Try bodysurfing at the lighthouse beach. The Bunbury Farmers Market is open 7 days a week and is a must stop for everything local - produce, meat, baked goods, cheese ….. The town is clean with every type of store you would need for supplies. Don’t miss the Dolphin Discovery Centre. I loved this place.

Bunbury is our regular holiday destination when we dont want to drive too far, but we know that we can relax and take in the beautuful beach views every time we holiday there. It is the centre of everything down South with just a short drive to Busselton, Margaret River or Dunsborough. It never disappoints and the weather is perfect in summer for swimming at the beach. Koombanna bay being our absolute fave for families. There is also plenty of places to eat right at your doorstep to choose from, including the new 'Froth Bunbrewery' yummy and of course lots of wineries to visit :-)

liked that small business are in the city centre, restaurants, cafes & not franchises such as McDonald's, hungry jacks etc
The bean & cone is a must visit for all. awesome range of icecream, sorbets for all dietary requirements, seating outside - same as Perth prices, staff lovely too.
The Beach Villa Bunbury is a fantastic option for your family holiday stay. So well equipped, has everything you can possibly need. Great location, secure and easy access to everything.
The view of the waves crashing and sunsets over the water is sensational.
My only complaint is that we didn't stay longer.
Thank you to Julie for the arrival email and all the information provided, you made our stay easy and seemless. We will definitely stay again.
Upon the moment my partner and I arrived the staff were friendly and very attentive.Service was exceptional as was the food both nights my partner and I had meals in the restaurant great value for money.

I loved the view over the inlet. The room was well positioned & equipped with everything i might have needed. Parking is on the doorstep.
Plenty of bathroom linen.
Swim beaches are a short walk way, beachside.
The hotel was the perfect location, close to everything you would need in Bunbury. The room was tidy, clean and well-presented. Excellent value for money, especially with the included full-breakfast which was delicious. Free parking was provided and staff were friendly and helpful.
Full breakfast included in the price was the reason we booked. The motel style room was comfortable and had easy access to the private parking. Evening dining in the bistro was excellent and the period decor tastefully done. For a 3 star hotel we couldn't ask for more.
Fantastic location - right next to the beach in the center of Bunbury. Room was smallish, but had everything you needed. Comfortable bed, good toilet and shower, aircon. Pool on site, decent restaraunt, very friendly staff!
The Hotel is ideally situated, an easy walk to shops and attractions.
It was nice to be able to eat in different areas and the atmosphere was relaxing.
The pool area and lounging chairs added to the holiday mood.
Our meals at The Rose Hotel were very adequate and the food was delicious.
Reception Staff at The Motel was very helpful and friendly.
Our room was comfortable for our stay in Bunbury.
The hotel has been fully refurbished and the hotel and the rooms were fantastic and clean. The hotel has a nice restaurant and bar which offered beer brewed at their local brewery.
The staff were friendly, when we saw them. It was a holiday weekend so there were no staff around for two of our three days. No housekeeping service, no front desk either.
