Numie - Freycinet Peninsula - Glamping, hotel in Coles Bay

Situated in Coles Bay in the Tasmania region, Numie - Freycinet Peninsula - Glamping has a garden. This luxury tent features free private parking and private check-in and check-out.

The glamping facilities at Numie were phenomenal. You could tell the hosts had put thought into everything from a little log burner inside the tent to board games. We really enjoyed eating out by the fire and walking down to see a weak aurora over the water. Everything is provided to make a fire and cook food. You can see the Hazards in the distance, which is lovely. The tent is cozy and well designed. We were left a welcome note on entering, which was a nice touch. I enjoyed relaxing in the bean bags and reading. Numie has all the comforts of home and all the benefits of nature.

Coles Bay is a beautiful spot to explore the stunning walks...

Coles Bay is a beautiful spot to explore the stunning walks around the Hazards and Wineglass Bay. There's a small store / post office that has all the basics and more, plus a fish & chip shop and great coffee bar/restaurant. Great to stay here for a few days and explore Sleepy Bay, Cape Tourville and Wineglass Bay lookout walks. The oyster farm is also well worth a visit. You definitely need a car to make the most of the area.

Coles Bay is just stunning and deserves more than the two...

Coles Bay is just stunning and deserves more than the two nights and one day that we had. Ideally, two full days if not more. Lots of hiking, beaching, kayaking etc. Loved it. Lucky those who own a house there!

We really enjoyed our stay at Freycinet Hideaway for 3 nights. The kitchen was really well equipped and stocked with plenty of plates and bowls and and cutlery. We used it to cook a few meals and it worked wonderfully well. There were 2 comfortable leather lounges in the living room which we enjoyed sitting on. Spacious parking spot at bottom of driveway. Central location to get to Freycinet National Park, wonderful walks to Wineglass Bay and beach etc.

The location was amazing to the private beach we were able to walk to and swim Initially disappointed as there was no food facilities at the resort until we discovered the Freycinet/Coles Bay Area. Oyster Farm & Geographe Cafe were outstanding. Parking close to suite was ideal. The room was very clean, ensuite needs a refresh in the shower and soaps provided. Pod machine would have been fantastic.

Location was astounding, had an incredible view of the Hazards. Very clean, lots of facilities/ utilities, close to all the cafes & grocery store. Phil, the manager, and Jeff both greeted me as I got off the bus. So kind & welcoming. Gave me a quick tour of Coles Bay, and set me up with a private driver in the area- Big Pete’s Seats. Super lovely town and great access to Wineglass Bay.

Our accommodation was very clean, and the cooking facilities, appliances, etc were fantastic. The location was really good, very close to the Freycinet NP. The general store at Big4 was surprisingly well stocked too. We watched the sunset at Coles Bay (short walk from Big4) one evening - it was beautiful!

The staff were fantastic, very welcoming and informative. I can't express that enough. And they left a chocolate and sparking wine on arrival as it was my birthday - which was a super nice surprise! The stay was comfy and relatively close proximity to the main area.
