Room was clean, tidy and as expected - all good, and staff were good. You'll need to be able to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs though.

Electric blankets on the bed were fantastic as it was cold in the area. Bathroom also had a heat lamp which was great as well. Check in was friendly. Tea and coffee making facilities available with milk and biscuits. Air con for cooling and heating. Great value motel.

Goulburn is a lovely place and there are lots of historical features to take in.
However, not all significant places are open every day and we only found this out by calling in to the visitors' centre. Most disappointing was a historic house which was noted as open every day but, when we drove out to it, there was a noticed posted there which said they were closed on the day.
The countryside is fantastic and it is very easy to get around.

Stunning! I've never been to Goulburn.
Stunning! I've never been to Goulburn. The architecture and rich history of this town is amazing. We spent most of our Saturday afternoon walking through cobbled lanes and around churches. Bellmore Park is a must see.
The food in Goulburn was great, smashed avo at The Harvest Cafe and Chicken Mignon at The Diggers are must try's.
Back to the Arcade was fabulous catering for our whole family and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. There's nothing I didn't enjoy about our quick trip to Goulburn. We will be back.

Great drive through country farmland out to Carrawang for a dirt-motorbike racing event, off the main road, place you'd never see unless you had a reason to take that path. Drive through Goulburn city centre had a number of nice places to each, and nice pub. Great country ambience.

Fantastic little Motor Inn with very welcoming owners.
Fantastic little Motor Inn with very welcoming owners. While it's a little on the older side, the accommodation was exceptionally well maintained and clean, and fundamentals like water pressure, bathroom, beds, pillows etc were all amazing.
A great stay and would certainly stay again!

goulburn is in a perfect location, about 90km from canberra,196km from sydney,190km from bathurst and 153km from the coast.(wollongong).it is steeped in history witrh many victrorian era buildings and a couple of massive very impressive churches or cathedrals,it boasts one of maybe the only remaining fully working steam engine water pumps, old trains from the past era and of course the impressive rocky hill war mwmorial perched over the city like a guard.,.there is alot more to do in goulburn than can be metioned here, the best thing is to check it out yourself, there is plenty of accommodation in town depending on the season of course

We arrived into Goulburn late and it was cold and wet.
We arrived into Goulburn late and it was cold and wet. We went to The Soldiers Club for dinner and all the staff were friendly, meal was nice. Unfortunately we had to leave early next morning so we didn't see a lot.
One of the few motels that are pet friendly, as our dogs travel with us for work there was no problem with having our dogs. Room was clean and comfortable also had an area where our dogs could empty out. While not in the centre of town but close enough, this suited us and was quiet. Staff helpful and pleasant. We have now stayed here on a number of occasions with no issues and will continue to do so.
A compact unit which was clean, had a comfortable bed and good kitchenette facilities. The bathroom had been refurbished and the shower was very good. Needed the car to get into town but have stayed here previously and was happy to take the short drive. Very good value for money and would stay at Willows again when travelling through Goulburn. The room service breakfast was also good value .
Beautiful federation cottage a ten minute walk from the Main Street of Goulburn.
Very quiet.
Warm, cosy, comfortable.
Lovely continental breakfast in the classic dining area complete with window seat.
Very pleasant and helpful host who even included a bag of home grown tomatoes on departure.
Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
I cancelled my booking on arrival as was not happy with atmosphere of a hotel. The parking area at the back was not secure as this is why the girl told me I could cancel.
I should have received an email from booking.com to say that I would not be charged for this cancellation at the last minute but have not as yet.
The motel is under new ownership (3 months). The owner was very warm, friendly and welcoming, as were all staff seen. The motel is an older style, but exceptionally clean and comfortable. Close to town centre (easy walk) and quiet. If I need accommodation in Goulburn, I would definitely stay here again .
This is a budget motel. It is conveniently located in the block behind main street Goulburn. Overnight was 1 degree C (22nd May) but the room was warm even with the tiled floor. Only disappointment was a double bed (though a good one) as my wife and I are used to a Queen.
Astor Suites were perfect… seperate from the pub and standard hotel rooms with its own entry
Immaculately clean and huge room
In the Main Street so park and walk to shops ect
Staff on check in were very friendly and would highly recommended this property
Hotel has the right balance of providing a very professional service with the warmth of a country stopover.
Holly and Darren went out of their way to ensure our stay was excellent and managed our very late arrival into Goulburn with no issue at all.
The exceptional service and care displayed by Karen during the booking process and Shelly at reception. Both do Mercure Goulburn great credit. Our room was spacious and comfortable and our restaurant dinner was delicious. Highly recommended.
Newly renovated rooms and appointed in accordance with a 3* hotel room. Walking distance to main street. Hotel is still being renovated so currently arrival arrangements are through the sister hotel Carlton Suites.
I didn't stay at the black sheep Goulburn, there was a problem with the shower,I was taken to a nearby motel. So there was a problem but it was all handle very well with no fuss. Well done!
Had a great stay at Goulburn South Caravan Park, staff were very accommodating and everything went very smoothly. They’re pet friendly which is exactly what I needed for my brief stay!
Heritage feel of the hotel
Antique furniture adding to rustic ambience
Furniture provided (armchair + small table + fan)
Small kitchenette with fridge and microwave
I know Goulburn very well and lived there for many years. The location of the accommodation is within walking distance to everything - food, shops, supermarket.
