The room was comfortable and light. The hotel had fascinating world war 1 displays which really added to the experience. Close to the centre, quiet and pretty. The Menin gate last post ceremony was very moving. A must do. In Flanders Museum also brilliant in terms of content and display.

The location at the centre of Ieper is excellent, close to Menin Gate, just opposite Flanders War Museum, and handy for restaurants and cafes. Unfortunately, staff were surly and could do with customer care training. Our room was small and not especially clean. The cafe closed at 7.00 pm just after we ordered our coffee, which we wouldn't have bothered if we had known beforehand. Clearly, 4 pensioners were too much trouble for the staff who couldn't be less helpful.

Friendly welcome, there is a convenient private car park underneath property (at extra cost), the family room was extremely modern and comfortable with the kids having a separate room within the family suite. 2 mins walk from town centre. Extremely good value for money.
