Needed a last minute room after a booking mistake in another hotel (my fault). Stayed here before and it's a good 3 star in a green neighborhood near Arenberg castle. Historic building also.

The hotel is very nice. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, the swimming pool looked wonderful (we didn't have time to go in) and the breakfast was also very good.

Rooms were cleaned every day! reception was available pretty much all the time. The baked items in the breakfast were fresh and tasty!

Typical Ibis experience: everything nice and clean, not the most luxury, but you can not say anything bad either.

Rode bicycle there from Leuven for the SuperPrestige Cross race in town. Perfect accommodation for my bike and I and easy ride into town center. Had a bar at the indoor tennis courts which was cool to hang out in and watch some balls back and forth. Asked for a Trappist beer to take to room and being a perfect Belgian host, he handed me the proper chalice to take as well! Little thing we Americans really appreciate.
I mistakingly left the hotel after a great breakfast without paying as thought the fee was collected by booking.com. The owner called me a couple days later and was super friendly and understanding and we worked it out easily. Will definitely be back next year for another excellent stay.
