Apart from the smell, everything was decent. It's cheap and that's what you get. Price-Quality wise i would've been happy. But the smell was horrendous.

Location to train station and the hotel has been renovated

It’s a beautiful hotel not that far from Eurotunnel (1.5hrs). We were looking for a quality property where we will be able to stay with our dog and this property didn’t disappoint. On the contrary. We got a beautiful room on the top (1st floor). With a big terrace and a massive, comfy bed.
Breakfast was amazing. Local cheese, meat and plenty of sweet things to choose from. We loved our stay so much that we will probably stay again in the summer months.
The standard of the hotel was good but we did not enjoy the layout of the room. We had not realised that the bed was against the wall which meant that my wife, who slept nearest the wall, had to climb over me to get out of the bed. We did explain this to the hotel staff. Perhaps such a room is more suitable for a single person. On a positive note, it was an excellent breakfast.
A nice hotel in a scenic location, but the staff were consistently indifferent towards the guests. Room was very dark. No tables available for dinner and we were not advised by reception at check-in to reserve for dinner. Outside guests that we invited to join us for breakfast we’re turned away by reception. At no time did the staff make us feel welcome
The hotel is in a quiet, peaceful and extremely enchanting location. There is a garden with trees and a pond. It is close to a forest.
The room was clean and tidy, although the overall design could have been better (this is especially true of the leopard-coloured carpet on the floor).
The bathroom is nice, modern and tastefully done.
The hotel contains multiple villas next to each other. Given that we rented four rooms, we had an entire building to ourselves. The rooms were big and clean and so were the comfy beds. The restaurant serves good food.
What i liked about my stay was the location and the staff. Plus there is electric parking spaces for electric cars. there was a great attention to cleanliness and the room and hotel were very clean.
The location, staff and peacefulness were on top. Unfortunately we only slept there after the concert but we wished we had time to have a walk and explore around. All in all a very nice hotel.
The Breakfast was amazing. We booked the house on the side of the hotel and it was perfect for our family. It was only a 13 minuted drive to downtown Ghent. Lovely place and property.
