There are lots of pros and cons about Haskovo and Bulgaria...
There are lots of pros and cons about Haskovo and Bulgaria in general. We felt it was like coming back in last century with facilities. We just could not put up with smoking everywhere. There are no cash machines around and you have to pay in cash in most places. No free drinking water facilities. Not many lamp posts outside, roads conditions leave much to be desired and people say it is not safe to go out late when it is dark… Not many people speak English or pretend they don’t understand and local people take advantage of you, offering double prices for taxi and other services. Good place to play tennis but not sure we would like to come back there next time.SvetlanaUnited Kingdom

The location is in the heart of town! everything you may need are in a walking distance! immediate communication was really a PLUS, as whatever was needed Irena was there! If you travel with car there is plaenty of public space around that you can park! If you travel with your family and extra ammenities are needed, Irena took care of everything!!Even toys and games were there for our kids! The host had taken care of every detail and the apartment was decorated with style. The place was very clean and cosy and equipped with all the necessary items. There were 2 seperate bedrooms and a living room and it was comfortable for 4-5 adults. Definitely recommend!
