Could not have asked for a better location. It was peaceful beyond expectation. Loved sitting on the back deck and drinking my morning tea, and again at night. Lucky enough to watch a black crowned heron catching his supper directly across the canal. Everyone passing by on the canal smiled and waved. Really enjoyed this experience. My grand daughter and great grandchildren spent many hours on the beautiful beach, and in the lake.

The dining room in the Inn was exceptional. The food was delicious & the staff were excellent. One server, Jen, is a great asset to Inn 31 & The Goose. Great atmosphere & great service. The concierge service itself was very good. When a text was sent, the staff member (Amanda) responded very quickly.

Walkable main street - several interesting shops, many restaurants ( those we tried very good), top notch butcher shop, bakeries (yum, yum), Christian book/gift store ( a bonus for me), close by beaches, museums, country stores/farm markets. Jack's gastro pub great - attentive, good service, best Caesar salad ever, great burgers.

We booked last minute and didn’t do much planning (very uncharacteristic for us). I was worried that we wouldn’t get to see or do much because of the lack of planning but my expectations were far exceeded. This town has the most friendly residents! Our first morning we wanted to take the ferry to the island but there was no availability for booking online. We called the office and even though the ferry had been out of service due to weather for the past few days, they found 2 walk on spots for us. Once on the island we rented a golf cart (this was an incredibly fun way to get around). We visited the winery and had the whole place to ourselves. Several staff were serving and preparing charcuterie and tastings for us. They were so excited to finally have visitors again! The price of the wine tasting and charcuterie was about 1/3 of the cost of what you’d pay at a niagara winery. That night we ate at the grove and the service and food were both excellent! The next day we visited Kingsville winery and had another amazing experience with the tasting and staff. The last item on our itinerary was the marsh. It ended up being a beautiful day for a walk but unfortunately too windy for a paddle. Will definitely be visiting again!
Things we’d do differently:
As history lovers, we’d definitely book a tour at Vin Villa ahead of time. We might also reserve the ferry ahead of time so that we have our car to travel around the island. This would just be to save money since the golf cart rental was pricy. If cost didn’t matter I’d 100% go with the golf cart again. It was a lot of fun! I also wish we’d made more time to hike to the southern most tip of the island.
Since it’s a small town not everything is always open. Definitely check the days/ times your desired locations will be open! A visit to Kingsville and Pelee island doesn’t require much planning but it’s definitely a good idea to plan some things ahead.

Our visit was only one night and a full day.
Our visit was only one night and a full day. Automotive museum, etc. was closed, which was disappointing. Jack Minor Bird Sanctuary was interesting and the Kennedy Trails. We walked the town, enjoyed Lakeside Park, which is getting a splash pad. We did go to Cedar Beach and that drive was interesting and a beautiful beach. (In my review of the B&B, I said we didn't go there, but I forgot since it was not in the actual town, just very close by.) We felt there was a good sense of community and the art gallery was setting up for a sale to support Kennedy Woods and gave good tourist info. Lots of markets and shops and places to eat. Walking tour of distinct homes was interesting. We were able to make our 6 p.m. ferry after a very full and good day. (Could have done with another day, if our schedule permitted.) Had yummy cauliflower curry at the Grove Brew House.
All locals and our hosts, Scott and Carol at our B&B Inn, were friendly and helpful.
The whole area was interesting with all of the huge greenhouses - would have liked to tour one of those. Got ice cream at Cindy's.
Note - ferry does NOT yet serve food (can't eat your own due to covid), so might be a good idea to eat something around 4 - no Island food available after 8 p.m. and ferry gets in at 7:30 p.m.

An up and coming destination.
An up and coming destination. Close to Pelee Island National Park and the island itself. Cute downtown with restaurants and shopping. Free parking downtown. Nice to bike around with beautiful Ontario style homes. Wineries in the area and brew pubs. Lots to do on Lake Erie like renting kayaks, canoes and going into inlets. Saw a pair of bald eagles while kayaking. Really a great place to get away to!

Retail businesses need to augment their hours.
Retail businesses need to augment their hours. Everything is closed so early. Would love to have shopped after dining, or on Sunday morning but literally NOTHING was open.
The brew pubs and dining were EXCELLENT.
Beautiful town and decor was great. The only downside was that booking.com did not notify the hotel about our early check in request so when we called the poor virtual concierge had to rush over to the hotel to make sure our room was ready. She did a great job finding solutions and made up for an error that was out of her control.
The location is fabulous to explore not only Kingsville but the surrounding area which includes the Point Pelee National Park, various wineries, and local craft breweries. The area is safe and friendly. Free parking behind the units. Local restaurants and shopping on the main street.
Well located to visit the nearby wineries. Really good restaurants were within walking distance. The bedroom and common areas were exceptionally clean and tidy. Scott and Carol were friendly and attentive hosts. The breakfasts were tasty, varied and plentiful.
From the moment I booked the room the owners were in touch and making sure everything was great before arrival. Offered tips on restaurants and local area. So quiet and clean and perfect location to the Pelee island Kingsville location. Such a great time,
