Rural location was lovely. Spotlessly clean facilities, simple but functional decor (I liked that there were no TV's in the rooms). Nice having access to a fully equipped kitchen and eggs available for purchase the next morning from the property chickens. Fabulous location for bird watching.

Lovely staff. Even the night porter and the grounds man took the time to make me feel comfortable in the outdoor area. I really appreciated their kindness. And the reception staff were very pleasant to deal with.

Was able to make breakfast in the Chalet. It has a small kitchenette with very basic appliances and supplies. This is good for families. It has a small porch out front which is nice in good weather. Chalets are spaced out nicely so there is some privacy between them.

We've visited Lac-Brome several times and finally stayed overnight just outside of town as we wanted to experience it longer than a short visit.
We enjoyed the antique stores and checking out the art display along the streets; all of the mannequins in various designs were so cool and creative. We also stopped into the bookstore to see Louse Penny's corner and book selection.
Knowlton is very picturesque and the containers of flowers are HUGE and so beautiful.

This is the famous Three Pines in Louise Penny's novels.
This is the famous Three Pines in Louise Penny's novels. The town also has very unusual statues. The scenery is great - loved the little sluice and the abundance of flowers everywhere. A place not to miss: The Knowlton Co micro brewery - extraordinary and the best pizza anywhere.

I was there to sight-see and visit some of my ancestor's homes and graves. The Lac-Brome museum is chock-full of historical items. A very nice learning opportunity.
We had a nice chicken sandwich at the Knowlton Pub. It was good and they served generous portions of french fries and onion rings. We also had pizza with a nice soft crust and a good red ale at La Knowlton Co. Microbrasserie.
The breakfast at QWilliams at the Hotel & Suites Lac-Brome was outstanding.

The location was perfect for skiing local resorts.
The location was perfect for skiing local resorts. Though the restaurant was closed for dinner (low period) the breakfast was great and Knowlton has a few good spots so we were happy with that. The staff were super firendly and accomodating.

This gem in the Eastern Townships of Quebec is well-known to Canadians but less well-known to American travelers. A quaint town, a public beach, walking/biking paths, canoes and sailboats, restaurants and lovely drives. Don't miss the bookstore and neighboring tavern. I counted at least six antique stores, and there is a local theater.
Lac Brome is set in an area of farms, and is not far from Sutton. It is about 40 minutes from Magog. A wonderful sidetrip is the Owl's Bread cafe/patisserie in Mansonville. Lakeside dining on the deck at Lac Brome Hotel and Suites was lovely on a warm evening.
Wineries are a short drive away (some are open for tastings, especially on weekends).

We have been to Lac-Broome many times for special events.
We have been to Lac-Broome many times for special events. The Lac Broome Theatre is a gem. We've been to the Duck Festival and enjoy this lovely village.
We've seen exhibits at the local museum and the library often has special exhibits as well. Saw a very moving exhibit on men from the village who fought in WWI.
We arrived early and they upgraded our room. The balcony was a nice refuge from the rain. The hotel is upgrading the backyard for more hot tubs and places to just enjoy the outdoors. The beach was flooded but the lake access is underrated. It is stunning. And the local kayak rental is located on the beach. We could've rented kayaks and paddled into the Quilliam-Durrell Reserve behind the hotel. A place to spot all sorts of birds and wildlike. I'd return in the autumn.
Beautiful location. Beautiful pool and view of the lake. Lots of private areas with hot tub fire pit. Spa with rocking chairs, sauna etc. A large gym with lots of equipment and large bright windows. Shorefront on the lake with canoes & kayaks just across from the hotel. Sweet patio outside ground level room with 2 chairs and table! Very relaxing! On site restaurant where we had a delicious breakfast. So many beautiful spaces in this lodge.
This is a very old hotel in a small, beautiful town. The atmosphere and ambience takes you back to the Victorian era, not just in the hotel but also in the surrounding buildings. The hotel was built in 1874 and the interior stays true to its character. If you love the Victorian era you will love this hotel and the town as well, Everything is very clean and inviting.
Van , the manager is sincere and knowledgeable.
Our 2nd Floor room for 3 , opened on to a beautiful Victorian veranda with seating and tables . The hotel is historic (150 years coming up) as is this charming village.
Louise Penny fans will be so delighted!! Take the roads least travelled ( no highways or tolls!) to experience the Eastern Townships!!
We didn't have the breakfast there, but there is a little boutique/coffee shop attached to the hotel and you could get coffee and lunch/pastry options as it's open every day from 10am to 6pm.
The pool area was great. Lovely setting and a perfect place to spend a very hot afternoon!
We loved the intimate coziness of this place. The fire place in the dining area, the little store next to the reception area and the breakfast was delicious! The restaurant wasn't open the night we stayed but can imagine how great it would be.
Really loved the old style hotel - very quaint and homey. However the restaurant on the site was not open, and the really beautiful pub was only rarely open and did not serve food. Restaurants etc about a 5 minute walk away.
Very helpful and hospitable staff, enjoyed the hot tub, steam room and sauna. Modern, clean room, comfortable bed. Attractive restaurant, menu for on-site dining. Great location for easy access to the region’s attractions.
Location is perfect for my work as well as if you want to walk to the marina or restaurants.
I love the front patio, pool area and bar with pool table.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Domaine Jolivent is set in a beautiful location, with lakes and walks - a lovely swimming pool. The layout of the hotel - outside restaurant and Barn restaurant are picturesque and comfortable.
Good location on lac brome. Beautiful grounds, lovely pool to sit at. Evening meal was very good at Mistral restaurant. King bed was comfortable and the wifi is very good.
