Conveniently located on the St Lawrence on my way to Percé. Isabelle greeted me in a warm Gaspésienne fashion and oriented me to the accommodation. The room had a clean, well equipped kitchen for a longer stay.

Our stay was far too short to enable us to see much of the area. However, what we noticed as we drove in was the cleanliness and pride of ownership. Our choice to stay at Bruin Oceane was well rewarded. The proprieter, accomodations and breakfast were phenomenal. We had dinner at The Bunker. The service and food were very good and the sunset over the water was spectacular.

A beautiful place, right by the beach, people are friendly.
A beautiful place, right by the beach, people are friendly. The restaurants are very good. The sunset viewed on the bench swings facing the water is a dream everyone should experience at least once in a lifetime! The best seafood restaurant is a little place that opened a few months ago and it is called Le Bistro du Capitaine. I would highly recommend it. Getting around is a breeze :)
It’s a beautiful, well-maintained hotel. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought and consideration into each detail. Very clean rooms and dining room nice decor that gives a upscale chalet feeling in the middle of the city. While the views weren’t great, and there was construction nearby, we were steps away from the water. We were also very close to the downtown area. Finally, the staff was warm and friendly, really took the time to make our stay comfortable and the food was delicious!!!
The sea view from the room was amazing, watching the sunrise was magnificent. The restaurant was excellent. The pool is small but nice. The hot tub has a view over the seafront too, as does the sauna. Outdoor pool wasn't open yet when I was there but looked nice. Hotel is walking distance from the centre of Matane.
The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was very good, although simple. The view from the hotel is spectacular.
The room was clean and well organized! A super positive point is that they accept pets ($25 extra). This is always important to me because I find it very difficult to travel with my dog.
It was so close to the St. Lawrence! we enjoyed watching the sunset along the water’s edge. Parking in front of our unit made it super easy to load and unload. The grassed area near our room made it east to take our dog out. Location was great to the town amenities including restaurants and stores.
Beautiful room, with an easy and pleasant walk to the water and to downtown Matane. Hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. We opted for the optional breakfast both mornings we were there, and are really glad we did: it was truly delicious.
The location is excellent and close to multiple services. This was my second time staying here, and the breakfast is super good and really well presented. The hosts are total sweethearts and I always try to stay here when I come to Matane.

Marie-Eve, the host, was very nice, accommodating, and in the Christmas spirit : )
The room was amazing with everything I needed and more.
Would definitely stay there again on my next visit to Matane QC.
We arrived late after getting of the ferry. We decided to eat at the Cargo Restaurant in the hotel. Excellent choice - super tasty food. We all enjoyed our meal and the service !!
Big and amazing bathroom and bedrooom in the suite on the 2nd floor.
Closed to the ferryboat, the st Lawrence river, all facilities and in the center of Matane.
The hotel is conveniently located close to the Matane ferry terminal. My room was away from the main road that goes in front of the hotel and was very quiet.
