Hôtel Universel, Centre de congrès Rivière-du-Loup, hotel in Rivière-du-Loup

Featuring an indoor pool, this hotel in Riviѐre-du-Loup, Quebec is located off Highway 20. Modern guest rooms include free Wi-Fi and cable TV.

We had a clean, comfortable room. Easy check in and pleasant, efficient staff. We enjoyed the historic photos along the hallway, and for some of them would have liked a little more information. For example, who was the other man in the photo with Louis St. Laurent? We look forward to your restaurant and hope to stay again.

Auberge Mr James, hotel in Rivière-du-Loup

Auberge Mr James has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Rivière-du-Loup.

The room was nice. Lots of space and a gas fireplace that made it quite cheerful. The bathroom was huge with a spa tub and separate shower. The beds were comfortable. It's also located next door to a restaurant so excellent if you're traveling and want to get something to eat latish. We didn't meet staff directly, except in the restaurant. However, we talked to them after we left because we forgot a pair of glasses. They were super nice and helpful and shipped them to us. That was really fantastic. Would cheerfully stay again.

The Quality Inn hotel is a maritime country-style property. This Rivière-du-Loup hotel is minutes from the Rivière-du-Loup Golf Course and Musée du Bas-Saint-Laurent, a contemporary art and ethnology...

Only negative was the room smelt of musty cigaret smells. I quit 9 year ago and as soon as I opened the door to the room I could smell it.

Came to the hotel for a funeral up from Massachusetts.

Came to the hotel for a funeral up from Massachusetts. The room had no tv remote and it went down from there. The fridge was turned off and took forever to get cool for the snacks and drinks we brought. I have to say the worse part was the hotel didn’t seem crowded, yet they put us under a family that couldn’t keep still day and night. Would have asked to move, but thee were a group of 4 rooms and wanted to stay together. I have stayed more than a few times in the past and was satisfied with the experience, but if this is how they are moving forward, I say try another place to stay.

We blaze through Rivière-du-Loup regularly on the way from Ontario to northern New Brunswick--it's not worth breaking the journey. This time we were going to southern NB so it made sense to stop. I'm not sure there's anything really in the RDL area that would make me spend a couple of days there, but if you need to break a journey, there are worse places to do it.

Absolutely stunning area. Parc des Chutes was amazing. Wish we had more time to explore. Had an excellent dinner within walking distance of the falls. Highly recommend L'Estaminet for a meal. Even though my french is limited, everyone was very accommodating.

The auberge was clean and staff were welcoming and friendly. Room with 1 bed and bunk beds had a small washroom with toilet, sink and shower. Breakfast provided a good assortment of food. Location was great...within walking distance of the lovely main street and restaurants. The auberge exceeded my expectations! Great value for price.

We loved our stay, especially the Nordic spa and proximity to excellent restaurants. Having dinner at L'Innocent was perfect after a long day of driving. The sporadic rattling of our A/C unit throughout the night is one thing that could be improved otherwise everything was perfect.

we only stayed for a few hours so we did not go into town. Motel room was nice, very clean but very small. toiletries, towels, face clothes were provided. Wi-Fi worked well. Restaurants connected to motels office which is very convenient. staff was courteous and friendly. Parking readily available shower in bathtub was excellent and bathroom very good. I would recommend this motel for a short stay....good value for the price....

Staff were friendly and smiling. The organization and administrative work of the hotel was very efficient. They got everything prepared including the room keys and you only needed to put down your signature for check-in. So the check-in process only took a minute. The check-out was also efficient because the statements were inserted into your room early in the morning. Also this was one of the only two hotels during our 11 day trip, which knew that we were the same group and put our three rooms next to each other.

Clean and comfortable Room. Good beds. They accommodate pets on the ground floor which was very helpful. There was a large bar fridge with a small freezer. And we had a fantastic breakfast which they happily delivered to our room and was worth the extra money and much better than hotels with inclusive breakfasts. The pool looked amazing but we didn’t have time to try it.

We needed an hotel for a one night sleep, on our way to Shediac, for our first night away from home since March 13, 3020. We loved the easy access to St. Hubert Restaurant, the chairs outside so we could take some fresh air after 7 hour car ride, the most comfort beds and the pillows. The generous breakfast bag. Thank you Comfort Inn RDL for a very good night sleep.

We have stayed at several hotels on the way down east, and on our return. This hotel really stands out and I will make sure to stay here on future trips. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, staff were very friendly. I really like that the floors are wood rather than carpet. Breakfast was fine, nothing fancy but something for everyone.

This is a perfect spot to stay. The check in process was easy although you do need some French language skills. the room was spacious and clean. The patio is a nice place to enjoy a glass of your own wine and the included breakfast. Far better than a traditional hotel room. would recommend this property!

.a bit disappointing overall. Seems to set itself up as a high-end hotel, and we planned this as our treat after a tour of New Brunswick but were somewhat disappointed. It's a good hotel, but quite over priced for what it is, both the hotel and the restaurant. Breakfast especially poor.

Even though the facilities were dated, they were very clean. Having the hotel reception located in a St Hubert part of the restaurant, isn't a good idea. The welcome we got on arrival was not very good.

Location with beautiful views/sunsets of the St. Lawrence River. With binoculars, it is possible to see the tops of beluga whales from a hotel room that faces the river. Very cool. Beds are very comfy.
