My room was good-sized, a nice change from the many single ones that I have had on my trip. It was quite modern and comfortable. The hotel's location was good for enjoying the lovely town of Bellinzona, although it was perhaps a few minutes walk longer for walking to the train station. Entry to the hotel was a bit confusing as you must take the elevator, and the hotel reception is not marked as such. It is the restaurant terrace. The hotel clerk was helpful although we had to conduct our business in French. He arranged an early breakfast and a taxi to the station.
Re-opened in September 2010, Hotel Internazionale Bellinzona offers free access to a spacious spa area, as well as modern, air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi in the centre of Bellinzona.
