The big pros: 10-15 minute walk to local access of the beach, relatively comfortable beds (the mattresses appeared to be new, and had comfort tops), and the pool is set back into the trees, so it feels very immersed in the rainforest. The two staff members we interacted with were also very friendly, as was the very charming rescue dog in the office.

This is an exceptional boutique hotel situated high up in the jungle mountain. It has an amazing view to the ocean and jungle and the sunsets are just gorgеous . This place is just PERFECT! A quiet oasis in rainforest! It is our favorite accommodation after 3,5 weeks in Costa Rica. Doug is super friendly, such a great host. A warm welcome. The property is so beautiful. You can see that they have an eye for details. All the trees, flowers, birds… just lovely. Our villa had beautiful views, we even saw a sloth! The villa is well equipped, clean and super comfortable. The complimentary Costa Rica coffee is a nice bonus. It’s the perfect place to explore the region, but also to chill, for example at the beautiful pool. Thank you so much!!
