The hosts are very friendly and extremely helpful; we were even met at the bus stop when we arrived in Lindenfels by bus (we travelled by train/bus).

The staff was very friendly and accommodated all our requests quickly ( e.g extra pillows, missing bathrobe). The breakfast and buffet dinner was versatile, fresh and delicious. The outdoor pool with the surrounding forests is a great place to relax. The playground is also excellent. Although the hotel and the rooms are old, the service and the location more than makes up for it and overall we were very satisfied.

This is a lovely hotel that has the warm feeling of a family-run business, and is situated in a beautiful area.
The rooms are somewhat basic (no fridge, no coffee corner) but are very comfortable and clean, and all had balconies with a magnificent view of the black forest. We had an amazing dinner in the hotel as well, where the dining room also overlooks that same beautiful scenery. Breakfast was included, and also was incredibly plentiful and tasty. Staff were helpful as we are English speakers and the menus were only in German. There are also many well-marked walking trails of varying lengths starting right from the hotel, we did two of them and really enjoyed ourselves. We definitely recommend a stop here, or even just a meal if you are passing through.

We booked this as we'd been let down on two other hotels...we arrived and were checked in by a delightful lady ..the hotel was spotless throughout...a little dated but immaculate..
We even had a balcony in our room...the location was quite and we managed to get a great night sleep.
Breakfast was good with all the usual choices..
We were very satisfied with our stay here..
